Tekashi 6ix9ine Says He Considered Suicide in Prison, Explains Why He's Not a Snitch

Tekashi 6ix9ine recently sat down with Fox 5 New York and talked about his time in prison. 

The busboy, turned rapper, turned federal informant said it was unbearable for him behind bars at times. Not just because he was confined but due to being in the media so much. Tekashi worked with the feds to lock up his former Nine Trey Gang affiliates. [Jump to 1:57 mark].

“I think people would have attempted suicide. At a point in jail I thought about it," he said. "It’s so much stress, so much pressure because you’re seeing yourself on the news every day, this that and a third, when is this going to come to an end?”

Tekashi then talked about testifying against Nine Trey and said he doesn't consider himself a snitch because he turned against people who aren't his friends.

“The audience understands it, the public, the world understands it, but they’ll paint it like 'this guy’s a snitch," explained 69. "But what’s the definition of a snitch? I feel like the definition of a snitch and definition of a rat is telling on your friends."
