Tekashi 6ix9ine was caught on an audio recording sounding pretty nervous.

It was right after his video with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj was shot up in Beverly Hills. TMZ obtained footage of the rapper talking to one of his representatives, and he didn't want to be identified by police.

That's because about a month and a half before the shooting he received four years of probation for his child sex case, and staying away from gang activity was one of the conditions.

"They know I'm in here, right?" Tekashi said. "ID me? I can't. I'm on probation. I can't. Tell them I'm not here."

Of course, the Brooklyn rapper would face much bigger problems a mere nine days after the shooting; He was busted for racketeering by the feds.

You can check out the audio recording below.
