Tekashi 6ix9ine Costs Promoters a Fortune With No Show

by HHL JT

Last night, Tekashi 6ix9ine skipped a Howard University Homecoming Weekend show in DC so he could play Powerhouse in New Jersey, leaving the DC promoters holding a big bag.

TMZ reports 6ix9ine cost the organizers of the DC show $300k after they had to issue refunds to over 3,000 people. They also had to turn away 400 people at the door, because they didn't know Tekashi was going to be a no-show until 35 minutes before the show was set to begin.

The show's promoters are considering legal action against 6ix9ine. But the judge might rule they should know better since this is the second time the troll rapper has canceled a show with the promoter.

When asked about the cancelation, reps for Howard University had no comment and said it was an unofficial event, so you can't accuse them of supporting a convicted child toucher.
