Tekashi 6ix9ine Co-defendent Asks For Leniency Because of Low IQ & Abuse

by HHL JT

We haven't heard a lot about Aaron "Bat" Young, one of the 12 Nine Treys picked up in the notorious Tekashi 6ix9ine RICO case.

Like nine others, Bat pled guilty. But since he didn't snitch like 6ix9ine, he needs to get that sentenced knocked down through a different tactic.

His lawyer has selected the dummy defense.

Bat's attorney Aaron Mysliwiec has told the court that his client only has a 63 IQ and was diagnosed with "Mild Mental Retardation of Intellectual Functioning" in grade school.

Mysliwiec argued that the low IQ may be a result of Bat being born addicted to crack and physical and sexual abuse by family members.

[A] sentence of even 10 years’ imprisonment would dramatically impact Mr. Young and he would be over 45 years old when he is released," Mysliwiec wrote in his letter.

He then made reference to the sentences of Nine Trey bosses Kifano "Shotti" Jordan and Jamel "Mel Murda" Jones.

"Mr. Young has committed serious crimes, but I respectfully submit he does not deserve a term of imprisonment that is 105 months longer than Jones and 60 months longer than Jordan," Mysliwiec continued.

Young will be sentenced November 18, a month before 6ix9ine is due in court.
