Taylor Swift Strikes Back After Kim Kardashian Leaks Her Approving 'Famous'

by HHL Editors

Last night, Kim Kardashian leaked a phone conversation between Kanye West and Taylor Swift in which they discuss 'Ye's track 'Famous' before it was released.

The song contains the line "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that bitch famous."  West had said he discussed the line with Swift beforehand, but Taylor denied that she ever pre-approved it.

3rd thing I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings

So let's go to the tape ...

The recording (which features a cameo from Rick Rubin) clearly shows that Swift and West discussed the first part of the lyric --"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex" -- and that Swift had no objections to him using it.

However, it doesn't appear that Swift ever heard the second part of the line, in which West refers to her as a bitch that he made famous. That was the part Swift seemed to object to after the track was released.

Swift seized upon this in response to Kim leaking the recording:

What do you think? Was Swift "exposed", or is the truth somewhere between?

In another twist, Kardashian may have committed a serious crime by leaking the tape.

It depends on which state she was in when she recorded it. If she was in Los Angeles, her home, she would have committed a felony because California makes it a crime to record or eavesdrop on any confidential communication, including a private conversation or telephone call, without the consent of all parties to the conversation.

However, if she was in NYC -- as some have speculated -- she would be in the clear because in New York State only one party needs to give consent to record.

Update: TMZ reports that the recording was made in LA, and that Swift may have West and Kardashian prosecuted.
