Tay-K Signs To Label Despite All The Murder Charges


Tay-K just released a remix of his hit the "The Race" featuring 21 Savage and Young Nudy.

That has led to speculation that the 17-year old is out of jail.

He's not. He's still locked up and waiting for trial on two separate murder charges. (He was also briefly a suspect in a third murder.)

While the youngster may never make it out prison, he does have a record deal. The re-release of his #SantanaWorld EP -- which included "The Race" remix -- came on J Grand's 88 Classic label.

88 Classic usually partners with major label RCA, where Grand is Senior Vice President of A&R & Marketing. 

However, the expanded version of #SantanaWorld is just through 88 Classic, probably because two murder charges is one too many for corporate at RCA.
