The Los Angeles rapper Ellay Khule explained why he's beefing with Talib Kweli in a newly released interview.

Khule first dissed the Brooklyn rhymer in August in a song called “Clap Emcees", which he dropped after they got into it on Twitter. He added "Hiphopcrisy", another song going at Kweli, on Friday. Khule, who also goes by the name Rifleman, included a clip of Kweli talking about him during one of his shows.

“Rifleman is a rapper that had a problem with," he told the crowd after a heckler brought him up. "He said 14 years ago I stopped him from giving a woman a flyer at a party. I don’t remember doing that, but I sound like the hero of the story. So, n*ggas come at me with this Rifleman sh*t. I’m 44 years old. I’m already Talib Kweli. I don’t have sh*t to prove. I do this for fun. I don’t do this for money."

“Rifleman threatened my family. Rifleman is a f*cking asshole," continued Kweli. "If you’re down with Rifleman, you’ve got to get the f*ck out the club. F*ck you. Get the f*ck out. F*ck you! F*ck you! F*ck you! To everybody on social media, I kicked their funky ass out the f*cking club.”

Khule then explained his side of the beef and confirmed it started when Kweli kept him from giving a girl a flyer at a past show. He also said the Black Star member made light of him getting shot last year.

“So he told me tell the guys he’s a liar because the story isn’t true and I’m enabler," said Khule. "I eventually say well, there was an altercation that initially involved a female about a flyer and he came over and interjected ... But the moment I lost it is when Kweli said, ‘Didn’t you just get shot in the neck?'”

Where do you think this beef will go and do you care?
