T.I. Names The Best Atlanta Rapper Out Of Jeezy, OutKast, Lil Baby & Future

T.I. visited Complex for one of their Brackets episodes and spoke about who the greatest rapper in Atlanta is.

The final four came down to OutKast and Jeezy facing each other, as well as Future and Lil Baby going against each other.

Tip said that OutKast are the best ever and explained why. [Jump to the 13:07 mark]

“It’s so much to be said for a group that hasn’t made music in a decade,” said T.I," who's currently working on a joint album with Boosie Badazz. “It’s timeless and still speaks to the now… Anytime Outkast in there that’s an easy one for me ... And Future comes from the school of Outkast, a Dungeon Family alumni … Outkast, I definitely think they hold the crown.”

Tip also bigged up the duo's 1994 classic, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

“It’s like the holy grail," he explained. "As far as mainstream global recognition, that’s the first of its kind for real. I truly do think Southernplayalistic is the alpha."
