T.I. Explains Why He Won't Take Busta Rhymes On After Being Called Out

by HHL JT

During his chat with Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes declared that he'd like to see T.I. in the Verzuz ring.

"From one brother that loves you, to a brother that knows I love him, I'm begging you to step in the ring with me," Busta told Tip. "I'ma bust your ass. Let me tell you something, we gon' to do it with grace, but I'ma bust T.I. I'ma bust your ass. Come on, T.I, let's have fun. Let's have fun T.I."

Tip doesn't want to have that kind of fun.

"I f*ck with you Bus.  I respect my elders," T.I. said, and explained he liked  Busta since Leaders of School. "That's a huge generational gap ...  You can't put Brandy against Dione Warwick.  It feel like Mike Tyson and George Foreman.  It's just the timing.

Busta Rhymes is one of the most phenomenal talents of our time, man,” he continued. “Muthaf*cka’s catalog is thick. Catalog is thick. It just ain’t the same. I can’t go back right now and play goddamn Pop Warner football … we can’t reach back there ...  I salute and respect Busta a whole lot. I just think the generational gap might be just a little too much. Actually, Busta and Fat Joe wouldn’t be bad. You were on the Fat Joe show. You and Fat Joe was around the same [era].”

Busta is eight years older than T.I.
