T.I. Explains What Happens When Rappers Approach Him On The Street with Freestyles

by HHL JT

There's been instances of rappers getting deals by walking up to a much more famous rapper and spitting a dope freestyle.

Just don't try that with T.I. Tip explained why that's a waste of your time.

"The thing I always tell people when they come up to me and say 'let me freestyle. Let me kick this 16' is 'bro, listen. You can, but I'm not really interested in that.' You can have best freestyle I've ever heard in my life and that's not going to convince me that I should invest my money," T.I. explained.

"What's going to do that is you're going to have to have some form of assurance or collateral and that usually comes from the effort or the work that you've already put in. So what you should do is take that freestyle and go somewhere and record yourself. It's very inexpensive these days. Record yourself, create a song, get that song buzzing. Shoot your video, upload it on YouTube. Let me see how many people have support for your movement. And then you won't have to come find me. It's my job to find you."

What do you think about Tip's advice? If T.I. won't listen to your street freestyle, Kanye probably will.
