T.I. has been hounded by allegations of snitching throughout his career.
He's denied them.
However, he recently admitted to pinning charges on his cousin Jamel. But there's a catch. Jamel was dead.

"Police pull us over, I have a gun," Tip explained. "We caught a gun case. My lawyer said, 'I know, we can make everything go away if it was Jamel's.' He had passed, but I had a talk with him. He said 'I'll take all the charges you got. If you can walk away free and put it on me, goddam right.'"
T.I. was then asked if he got crap for snitching on his dead cousin
"Don't nobody know about that. I just volunteered this information. I'm just being honest. That's the only time I ever gave information about anyone. Because that's my cousin, my big cousin, he was dead, and he told me it was O.K."
Tip really doesn't make it clear if his cousin "told him" this before or after he was dead. We're going to assume it was before he was dead. But if it was after he was dead it adds a new element to the situation.
