Swizz Beatz & Timbaland Called Sellouts By 'Power' Actor For Selling 'Verzuz'

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland responded to Michael Rainey Jr., after the Power actor called the producers sellouts for selling Verzuz to the company Triller, a video-sharing service.

“Can’t ever just have something of our own it’s always about the money,” wrote Rainey on his Instagram Stories. “Cool move but these n*ggas still sellouts."

Based on the 20-year-old's response, it was clear that he didn't have a full understanding of the deal, but Swizz and Timbaland schooled him.

“But we own triller," wrote Swizz. 

“We own everything tell who done that,” added Timbaland.  

Both producers became major shareholders of Triller as part of the deal, on top of the undisclosed amount of money they received. Plus, the 43 artists that participated in Verzuz are also shareholders.
