Travion Lamar King was almost the luckiest thief ever.

The 21-year old, who police describe as a "transient," walked on to Drake's tour bus Tuesday night and walked off with suitcase full of $3 million in jewelry that belonged to Drizzy's DJ Future The Prince.

The pair were performing at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix at the time of the "heist."

Now it wasn't pure serendipity that King stumbled upon such a haul.  He had worked security at the arena before, and probably knew the best way to sneak on a tour bus. However, he couldn't have imagined someone would have left $3 million of bling in such an easy to snatch carrying case.

King's luck ran out very quickly when he was found yesterday on the campus of Arizona State University holding the suitcase full of jewelry.

He's been charged with trespassing and theft.

When asked about King's arrest, Drake made it clear that he wasn't the one robbed.
