Suge Knight Takes Plea Deal in Murder Case

by HHL JT

Suge Knight has agreed to take a plea deal in the killing of Terry Carter.

The former Death Row boss has been locked up on a murder charge ever since he used his SUV to run over Carter and another man after a confrontation on the set of Straight Outta of Compton in January of 2015

Suge's trial was supposed to start on Monday.  Instead, TMZ reports the 53-year old will go to the L.A. County Superior Court this afternoon and enter a plea deal. He had been facing life in prison.

Suge contends he ran over Carter and Cle "Bone" Sloan, who survived his injuries, out of self-defense.

Terms of the deal have yet to be released.

Update: Suge won't be walking the streets anytime soon.  He got 28 years in prison for pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter. He gets credit for 3.5 years served.
