Suge Knight Suffered Potentially Fatal Blood Clot After Pleading Not Guilty

by HHL Editors

Whether it comes from his poor health or the legal system, it looks like the end of Suge Knight is upon us.

On Tuesday, the 49-year old collapsed after pleading not guilty to charges of murder and attempted murder steaming from a hit and run incident last week. Then he fell ill in the courtroom and was taken to the hospital.

While it was initially reported as a panic attack, we now know that it was something a lot more serious. According to TMZ, Knight was having "an intense physical reaction to a potentially fatal blood clot."

Blood clots were also the reason Knight passed out twice in November while locked up in Las Vegas on an unrelated robbery charge. It is believed that the blood thinners he began taking after being being shot six times during Chris Brown's album release party in August are contributing to his current health problems.

Knight's bail had been revoked in this latest legal mess, so he spent Wednesday handcuffed to his hospital bed and under 24 hour watch. He was returned to prison today.
