Yesterday, there was a report that Suge Knight had signed his "life rights" over to Ray J, meaning Brandy's little brother would handle all of Suge's business pertaining to film, TV, and books as he serves his 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter.

Suge corrected that in a call with The Blast, explaining he has all the respect in the world for Ray J -- who he calls fam -- but that the report wasn't quite right.

"I respect Ray J and his business dealings. That's why I choose him to be one of the guys to deal with the music side. The future of Death Row records and indeed a new Death Row ... As for as the person that has the power of attorney, which is [his fiancée] Toi [Lin Kelly], who's dealing with the movies and television, a documentary," Suge explained.

Then he revealed there's another party involved with his dealings on the outside: Nick Cannon.

"The other person involved in that is the person I feel is the most credible and one of the most realest guy in the business today, which is Nick Cannon. Nick Cannon will be doing the book personally, as a writer. I know he has all the potential and the experience to be a great writer. He is a great writer. He will be doing my book and will be involved in a lot of other things moving forward," Suge added.

Suge closed out the call by reminding everyone he is not serving a life sentence and "Will be home before you know it."

Suge could be home in as few as ten years, taking into account time served and California's overcrowded prisons.
