Public Enemy's 14th album, Nothing Is Quick In The Desert, was supposed to drop on the Fourth of July.

But Chuck D and company decided to leak it a few days early and for free.

"After 30 years, 106 tours across 105 countries and countless records, THANK YOU! This one is on Public Enemy. Get it while it’s free," Chuck D told his fans.
The album features Prophets of Rage, Ice-T, PMD of EPMD, and more.

Chuck D explained the album's title in an interview with HipHopDX.

"The record business is appearing like a desert," he said. "But the music has a life if you look at it right."
