Stephen A. Smith spoke about Shannon Sharpe being accused of rape by a woman named Gabriella Zuniga, who's suing him for $50 million.
As Smith sees it, many people are happy about Sharpe's troubles, and it has to do with the overwhelming success of his viral interview with Katt Williams from early last year.

"People have been after him since he did Katt Williams," Smith told L.A. radio host Big Boy. "They been at his neck 'cause of the numbers he produced, the success that it had, and how he was able to ride that wave … You see a joy that some people are having in going at him, and that’s sad."
Sharpe has denied Zuniga's allegations and said their relationship was consensual. He plans to sue her for defamation, as well as her 1-800 lawyer Tony Buzbee — the same guy who failed miserably at trying to sue JAY-Z for sexual assault.
What do you think about Smith's claim that people have been praying for Sharpe's downfall since his Katt Williams interview?
