Soulja Boy has been talking about getting his facial tattoos removed for almost five years.

"I feel like I don't really need it on my face. I have a lot of stuff to do," Soulja said back in 2011

There has long been speculation that Soulja's facial ink killed his career's momentum by limiting his mainstream options -- such as a sitcom.

But it's been unclear if and how exactly he has been getting rid of those tats.

The 25-year old jumped on IG yesterday and posted a video of the Gucci logo in the middle of his forehead getting zapped by a laser.

Recently I've been going through this process to get my tattoos removed, wanted to share the actual procedure. I appreciate all my friends, fans, and family. We have to strive to be a better person everyday.
