Snoop Dogg Says Vanessa Bryant Was Why He Went Off On Gayle King

by HHL JT

Snoop Dogg went nuts on Gayle King for bringing up the rape charge the late Kobe Bryant caught (but never went to trial for) in an interview with she did  Lisa Leslie shortly after Bryant's death.

Snoop called the CBS This Morning personality a"funky dog head bitch" and suggested he and others might "come get" her.

After a bunch of backlash, Snoop apologized for being disrespectful to King.

He's set to address all of that on an episode of Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk which will air tomorrow.  In a preview, he explained why he initially went after King so hard.

"I wanted to make sure that what I said was said the right way. And I wanted to make sure that the message was across that we love Kobe and be respectful of Vanessa and those kids," Snoop said "That’s what the whole intent was. To protect that woman and them babies over there because she’s still grieving and let’s give them that respect."
