Last week, Fat Joe claimed that Kendrick Lamar is running the West Coast like no one ever has before.
"I was there last week," Joe said of L.A. "I’ve never seen nothing like that: Every single song, ‘Turn his TV off...’ What? It’s a fact. Kendrick Lamar gets played nine out of every 10 songs in L.A. right now. Not even Snoop Dogg, not even Tupac Shakur. Nobody from L.A. has dominated the paint like this guy… If you’re from L.A., you probably think there’s only one guy on Earth, Kendrick Lamar. I’m just keeping it a buck with you."
Snoop pushed back on that during a chat with the Breakfast Club.
Snoop Dogg disagrees with Fat Joe and says Kendrick Lamar has to do more things outside of music before he would claim him as the most dominant West Coast rapper ever over him, but says that Kendrick is the current King

"He can't say that, he's not from the West Coast," Snoop said of Ozempic Joe. "30 years of [me] being on top... and it ain't reliant upon music, so until other things happen, outside of music, then we can't use that word surpass, that's just my opinion..."
Is that opinion correct?
