Slim Jxmmi Asked If His Brother Swae Lee's Solo Success Bothers Him

by Daryl Nelson

Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee has a huge solo hit with "Unforgettable." Not only that, Swae was nominated for co-writing Beyoncé's "Formation" and appeared on the Black Panther album without his brother and bandmate Slim Jxmmi.

During an interview with Billboard, Slim spoke about competition among the brothers, and he explained that there isn't any.  He also said some people just assume that he's upset or jealous because his brother has become a bigger artist than he has.

“If people see me out and I have a stank face on, they think I’m mad because of that, but I’m mad at them because they want me to be mad," he stated. "I’m always singing ‘Unforgettable’ when it come on in the club, but people look at me like, ‘Is it OK if I dance to this?' It’s no competition. We’re brothers. At the end of the day, we’re getting a bag."

Do you think Slim is telling the truth about not being jealous of Swae's success?
