Shannon Sharpe Gets BeyHive Going With Taylor Swift Take

You can't talk about the NFL these days without mentioning Taylor Swift, girlfriend of Kansas City star Travis Kelce and Fox and CBS cameramen favorite.

During a chat with Ochocinco, Shannon Sharpe opined that Swift moves the needle in a way that Beyonce can't and that the 34-year-old is the closest thing we've had to Michael Jackson.

“She’s the closest thing to moving the needle like Michael Jackson!”

Shannon Sharpe on Taylor Swift. And suggests Beyoncé doesn’t have the same impact.

Ochoncino objected to what Sharpe said about Beyonce.  However, he conceded the point when Sharpe pointed out that Taylor Swift made about twice as much on her 2023 tour than Beyonce made on her 2023 tour and about seven times as much on her 2023 concert movie as Beyonce did on her 2023 concert movie.

Members of the Beyhive weren't convinced.

Stans aside, Sharpe's logic on Taylor vs. Beyonce seems rock solid.  

The MJ comp is a little more interesting.  Especially coming from a 55-year-old.  Although it's probably not best to debate it on social media, where most of the participants aren't old enough to remember to what extent Michael Jackson was running pop culture during his height in the mid-80s.
