'Shady XV' Projected To Double Rick Ross's 'Hood Billionaire' In Sales

Shady XV is on track to be the biggest Hip Hop release in months.

According to HITS Daily Double, the Shady Records compilation album, which was promoted heavily by the label's boss Eminem, is expected to sell between 140-150,000 in its first week.

That's double the total of Rick Ross's equally heavily promoted Hood Billionaire, which is projected between 60,000 and 65,000. This is Ross's second album of the year; March release Mastermind did 179,000 in sales during its first week.

Beyonce's Platinum Edition (More) EP is also projected to sell between 60,000 and 65,000 in its first week of release.

Iggy Azalea's Reclassified didn't fare as well. The reissue of The New Classic with five new songs is only expected to move between 11,000 and 13,000 units.

Other new releases include Pitbull's Globalization (20-25K) and David Guetta's Nicki Minaj-featured Listen (20-25K.)

It's going to be a busy Black Friday week for the entire music industry, as it always is. Have you had a chance to listen to any of the new releases? If so, what did you think?
