Schoolboy Q Calls Out People For Making NIpsey Hussle's Death About Themselves

by Daryl Nelson

During the promo run for his new album CrasH Talk, ScHoolboy Q stopped by Big Boy's Neighborhood and compared the reaction to Nipsey Hussle's death to the passing of his close friend Mac Miller.

"I was a little offended when [Mac Miller] died and mad people were, like, reaching out and doing all this Mac stuff," he said. "I have a lot of respect for Nipsey and their people so it's like let them grieve. And I feel like everybody's trying to make it about them."

Q said something similar earlier this month when people were telling him to post something about Nipsey's death on social media. The TDE rapper said he held back from posting because certain things, like real grief,  just aren't for Instagram.

Who do you think Q's talking about when he calls out folks for making Nipsey's death about them?  You can hear him talk about it at the 11-minute mark.
