Saweetie Rips Warner Records For Releasing Doja Cat-Assisted Single

by Daryl Nelson

Saweetie is known for her "My Type" single, being Quavo's girlfriend and posting the occasional thirst trap

She isn't really known for having social media meltdowns, but the rapper went off on her label Warner Bros. on Thursday, Dec. 3 for supposedly messing up the rollout of her song “Best Friends,” featuring Doja Cat.

I am extremely disappointed in my label WBR for prematurely releasing a single I was so excited about. I feel disrespected. I’m hands on with ALL of my creative & had such a dope rollout for “best friends”. The thirst for clout & $ is real & it overrides the artists’ art.

We put so much work into the visual & we shot for days for this super cinematic girl anthem. And for this to happen? wow....

Do you think Saweetie blasting her record label helps or hurts her?
