Safaree Samuels long hinted that he ghostwrote for his ex Nicki Minaj.
Then he took that back, clarifying earlier this year that while he worked with Nicki on tightening her bars he never came up with any of them himself.
He also did some credited work for Onika, including co-writing the Pink Friday track "Did It On'em" and lending background vocals to Pink Friday's "Roman's Revenge".
He's still getting paid for that work.
“WDH I jus get this random music business check from???” he wrote over the statement. “55 years later wat da hell. Happy birthday to me!!"
That's a couple of thousand for his efforts.
Nicki's first Safaree-less album Queen drops August 10th. Do you think she can succeed without Samuels' help?
