It's no secret that Royce Da 5'9" and Eminem are close, but we got a deeper glimpse into their relationship.

Royce sat down with MSNBC and Ari Melber to discuss his new video "Cocaine" and the meaning behind it. 

This song means the world to me. This is the most important song on the album This song is about addiction, my addiction and my father's addiction.

Royce goes on to talk about Future's music and the drug filled trap music that is out there. 

I think it's unfortunate, but I try not to focus on it. I focus on my music.

The conversation switches to Royce's relationship with Eminem, and he was not shy about what Eminem has taught him over the years. 

I've learned a lot of things from. I've learned that you don't need to be drunk and high to create music. You can do it, as long as you want to do it, there is no age limit.
