Rosenberg Says Drake Admitted To Using Ghostwriter In 'Thank Me Later' Era

by HHL Editors

Drake's use of ghostwriters became a hot topic last summer, thanks to Meek Mill.

But Hot 97 personality Rosenberg says Drizzy's use of ghosts was never a big secret.

While interviewing Pete Davidson for his Real Late show, Rosenberg revealed a conversation he had with Drake during his Thank Me Later era.

It happened as Davidson and Rosenberg discussed whether Drake had ever had a bad verse.

“There’s one. I told him this too. And he didn’t write it,” Rosenberg said. “It was from the first album run. It had that flow. Three rappers were on it." “He actually told me he didn’t write that verse,” he continued. “By the way, first time I’m saying that publicly. I’m not trying to roast him. I didn’t think anything of it.”
Rosenberg says he can't remember the exact song, which is a bit odd. The radio host also has a history of criticizing Drake.

Still, it would seem to back up a lot of what we know about Drake's song writing process.
