There have already been some theories as to why Roddy Ricch's sophomore album Live Life Fast flopped.

One involves Drake.

However, Roddy thinks it was about timing.

During his interview with DJ Akademiks, Roddy explained why he thinks his second album didn't see nearly the same success as his first.

He told AK if the album dropped closer to its lead single 'Late At Night' it would have done numbers.

“That song was such a crazy song that people caught on two to three months later,” Roddy said. “If I would have dropped an album within that frame and did whatever I did, I would have dropped and I would have been 180k up.”

Instead, it posted 62K and faded in its second week.
