Chris Rock is on Rick Ross's brutal Birdman diss 'Idols Become Rivals.'

Ross and Rock have an interesting history.

During the 2014 BET Awards, Rock made a joke at Ross's expense.

"Dr. Dre has beats, Rick Rock has diaBEATS," Rock quipped.
Ross shot back on Twitter.

Ross intensified the feud last year by saying Rock's 2016 Oscar monologue was unfunny and calling Rock a "cornball."

They've since made up.

Ross tells VEVO that he put Rock on the track to show that idols don't always have to become rivals and, in fact, sometimes it goes the other way.

“Putting Chris Rock on it, somebody who I once had a difference with, so it’s two sides to that,” explains Ross. “Everybody don’t just become your rivals, you can gain allies. I did both on the record.”
