Rick Ross Speaks On Hip Hop's Relationship With the Gay Community

Much like society, Hip Hop has gone through some changes concerning its acceptance of the LGBTQ community

It started with presumably straight rappers like Young Thug embracing their feminine side in their dress and manners.

Then came openly gay rappers like Lil Nax X.

According to Rick Ross, that's all good.

During a recent chat, the Bawse was asked about gay rapper Saucy Santana.  While he wasn't familiar with Santana, he still gave an interesting answer. [Jump to 12 minutes.]

“I’m not familiar with the name Santana, but live your life, chase your dreams, and go hard, man. Go hard,” Ross said.

The interview followed up by asking if Ross thought Hip Hop will ever embrace the LGBTQ community fully?

“I believe Hip Hop has already embraced it. Without a doubt," Ross said.
