Back in September, rumors started to fly that Rick Ross was signed to Epic Records after a cryptic tweet and meeting with L.A. Reid. As we all know, his Def Jam contract wasn't finished. He owed one more album, which became Black Market this past December. After that, Ross was free to either re-sign or look for a new home.
Rick Ross didn't take long to make up his decision. He's departed from Def Jam and joined Epic Records. The label sent out a tweet welcoming Rick Ross to the label.
Is this a good decision for Ross? What's his first move now that he's under Epic? Are we going to get a new album this year? Stay tuned.
