Richard Sherman Threatened To Kill Himself Before Being Arrested

Former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman was arrested in Seattle on Wednesday, July 14 on charges of domestic violence and burglary. 

According to ESPN, he was trying to break into a family member's house when police arrived. He's also being accused of crashing his car into a construction barrier while drunk, then walking away. 

In a 911 call Sherman's wife, Ashley Moss,  said that Sherman threatened to kill himself before being arrested and expressed that he wanted to hang himself.

As for now, Sherman is behind bars at the King County Correctional Facility and hasn't been released. We'll be sure to update this story if any important details come in.
