Report: Playboi Carti's New Album Will "Shock"

Playboi Carti's last album Whole Lotta Red was moderately successful, pulling in 100K in its first week and eventually going gold.

But there is a thought that the 2020 effort didn't live up to Playboi's hype and promise.

So it looks like he's changing things up for his third album.

According to DJ Akademiks, Playboi's new sound will surprise his many fans and his many haters.

“The sound he did last time, he’s flipping it & doing other stuff now. He’s doing something completely different … it is going to shock people,"Ak said.
