Future's oldest child Jakobi Wilburn is in serious trouble.
The 17-year-old was arrested last month in Georgia and faces charges including criminal gang activity, criminal trespass and the altered ID of a firearm. He's being tried as an adult and just the gang charge can get him 20.
On Jakobi's paperwork, he's listed as “indigent” and in need of a public defender.
However, sources who spoke to TMZ says that's not the whole story. They say Future is well aware of his son's situation and has committed to hiring the best legal representation possible for his boy.
Future hasn't publically commented on the situation, but Jackobi's mother has, telling TMZ that both she and Future are actively involved in Jackobi's case.
"Our son is a minor and to protect his well being in this trying situation, we ask that everyone please respect our privacy at this time," she added.
