by HHL Editors

Like the expert promoters they are, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have been dancing around the question of a super fight.

Last night we got the closest thing to a confirmation that it's going to happen.

Joe Biggs is a reporter who has a longtime relationship with Mayweather's camp.

Biggs didn't offer any other details.  But previous reports had the fight happening under boxing rules and each man getting $100 million. (McGregor may have to share some of that money with the UFC.)

Additionally, The Nevada Athletic Commission has an agenda item on to consider a request by Mayweather Promotions for an August 26th fight date at MGM Grand.

Mayweather would be the big favorite in the fight.

Vegas Sportsbooks has him at -800 and McGregor at +500.

Despite that, Conor seems confident.
