Report: Beyonce "Angry" After Unwittingly Wearing Blood Diamond

by HHL JT

Beyonce kicked up some controversy when she wore the $25 million 128 carat Tiffany Diamond in a new ad campaign for the luxury retailer.

Beyonce is only the fourth woman ever to wear the stone.  However, she is now claiming she didn't realize it's considered a blood diamond, pulled from a South African mine in 1877 by poorly paid African laborers who worked in terrible conditions.

"Beyonce is aware of the criticism and is disappointed and angry that she wasn’t made aware of questions about its history," a source told the tabloid.

“She thought that every final detail had been vetted, but now she realizes that the diamond itself was overlooked.”

Nevertheless, the ad campaign goes on.
