The Real Rick Ross Just Got Busted With Suspected Drug Money

Is Freeway Rick Ross still doing everything the guy who took his name raps about?

The notorious drug dealer, who was jailed between 1996 and 2009 for running an enormous crack cocaine distribution ring, was arrested last week in Sonoma, California after being caught with $100,000 of suspected drug money. He also faces a charge of suspicion of conspiring to commit a crime.

Since has was released from prison, Freeway Rick Ross has spoken out against his former lifestyle and criticized rappers -- like Rick Ross -- who glorified it.

Freeway Ross has also tried and failed three times to sue the former prison guard born born William Leonard Roberts for copyright infringement.

Freeway Ross's management has yet to comment on the arrest. A spokesman with the Sonoma sheriff’s office confirmed that it happened, but wouldn't get into any further details because it's part of an ongoing investigation.
