A few months back, The Daily Mail reported that Ray J had been in secret talks with the Trump administration to pardon Suge Knight, who's in the midst of a 28-year sentence for purposely killing a guy with his car.
The story isn't so ridiculous on the surface. Ray J is Suge's trusted advisor and man on the outside and Trump is the type to think pardoning Suge could actually curry his favor with black voters.
However, Ray J is saying the story was pure, unadulterated cap.
"You know, people make up a lot of different stories about a lot of different things," he told Variety. "But that story right there, I jumped on top of it because I didn’t want it to spread. I really don’t know where that one came from but that was kind of loud. Again even how you’re asking me about it, I’m like “listen, let me get on my social media…” And I love the Daily Mail, I think they’re the ones who broke it so whoever told them was on a good one."
Sorry, Suge. You can still hope for overcrowding.
