Earlier this year, The Geto Boys member Scarface said he was done with rap forever.

When he did, some may have thought he was joking around, but it looks like he has left the rap world to become a politician.

As of now, Brad Jordan a.k.a. Scarface is in a runoff for a Houston City Council seat on Saturday.

The 49-year-old says he knows his celebrity carried him into a run-off election, but he’s hoping he can convince the voters who got him there to come out again so he can represent the council’s District D.

District D includes 200,000 voters and stretches into the south and southeast sides of Houston.

Good luck, Brad!
