Rapper May Cuz put on an impromptu kitchen show during a Christmas party in the Pittsburgh area earlier this week.

Curtis Smith entered the kitchen as Cuz was rapping and mocked his effort. That led to an argument, which led to Cuz pulling out a gun, which led to Smith fleeing toward his SUV. Cuz fired off three shots as Smith run, striking him in the buttocks.

"Smith overheard [May Cuz] rapping and did not believe he was that great at it. Smith began to laugh and smirk at [Cuz] as he sang," said Trooper Adam Janosko.

Smith was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Cuz has been charged with attempt to commit homicide and possession of a firearm.
