R. Kelly Placed On Suicide Watch

by Daryl Nelson

R. Kelly was put on suicide watch when he was found guilty on nine counts of racketeering and sex trafficking in New York last month, according to his lawyer Greenberg.

Kelly was first locked up in 2019 after being charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse by Illinois' Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

The singer still has to stand trial for the Illinois charges, and he's facing 10 to 100 years in prison for his New York conviction.

Were you surprised to hear that Kelly was on suicide watch?
