Questlove Says He's Hyped About The Future Of Music After Hearing Lil Yachty's New Album

Lil Yachty released his album Let's Start Here, which is a psychedelic rock project, not a rap release.

One of the celebs who posted about it is The Roots' Questlove who said it makes him excited about the future of music.

"I dunno man: after about 3 listens (and I thought I’d NEVER say this—-& not because I didn’t expect this from Lil Yachty——but just in general I didn’t expect this from MUSIC) ... this aptly titled #LetsStartHere lp might be the most surprising transition of any music career I’ve witnessed in a min, especially under the umbrella of hip hop ... Sh*t like this (envelope pushing) got me hyped about music’s future," Quest wrote in part.
