Quentin Miller Explains Why Big Sean Broke His Heart After Working Together

by Daryl Nelson

If there was an award given for the most chatty ghostwriter, Quentin Miller would be standing at the podium giving a thank you-speech.

That's because he's been talking about writing for others lately while complaining about it.

Miller already said that he didn't get paid for writing Drake songs, talked about falling out with Nas, and said he never had a good experience with Meek Mill.

Next on his list of artists that he's not happy with is Big Sean, who Miller said dissed him by not giving him a writing credit on What You Expect, Sean's 2021 EP with Hit-Boy.

"Big Sean, that really broke my heart,” Miller said on VladTV. "When I get to working with Sean on this last project, the What You Expect with Hit-Boy, I’m part of three songs. There are only six songs on there. We’re texting and talking every day. I’m pulling up on Sean’s crib, like, every other day.”

“Maybe, like, a week before the album drops, [Sean’s] just not responding to me at all,” the ghostwriter alleged. “Then, like a week before, I’m in the studio with Hit-Boy. I just randomly hear in a conversation with Hit, ‘Yeah, the album drops next week.’ I’m like, ‘Wait, what? I didn’t even know.' Then the sh*t comes out ... My name was not on the credits ... That one really disappointed me because I thought dude was solid.”

But Miller said he eventually got credit on the project after fighting for it.

How do you think his career will be affected by doing all of this talking?
