Quavo Drops 'Without You,' His First Song Since Takeoff's Murder

by Daryl Nelson

Just before midnight on Thursday, January 5, Quavo released a tribute song to Takeoff called "Without You."

Quavo was with Takeoff when he was shot and killed in a Texas bowling alley in November. And although Quavo has addressed the murder publicly, this is the first song he's released since it happened.

The cut also features Kentucky singer Vory.

"Tears rollin' down my eyes / Can't tell you how many times I cried / Days ain't the same without you / I don't know if I'm the same without you / Remember the days we smoked big blunts together? / Remember the days we rocked out Coachella?/ Remember the days we ain't have our sh*t together? / On the Nawfside, times were hard, but them days was better," says Quavo in the song.

There's a black and white video as well, which shows Quavo sitting in a chair listening to the cut. You can see it above.
