Pusha T Explains Why He Didn't Respond To Drake's Recent Diss On New Album

by Daryl Nelson

Drake dissed Pusha T on Jack Harlow's leaked track “Churchill Downs," which Pusha already responded to.

“All I hear is plug talk comin’ from middleman / All I hear is tall tales comin’ from little men,”spit Drake on the song.

Pusha said he wasn't very impressed by the diss and called Drake's flow dated.

The Virginia Beach rapper was asked about the song again while speaking to GQ and explained why he didn't respond to Drizzy on his new It's Almost Dry album.

“I mean, my album is that good," said Pusha. "I could never cheapen my album with [that]. I’m cool now. Have a good time. It [even] sounds so old to me. The flow sounds old, the shots don't even, like, what is that? That ain't a warrior talk."

He continued."I've been here [before]. I’ve seen how it goes. It’s been too long, too many people been called. I’m never engaging with anybody's time. Everybody's on my time. Everybody. And right now, I have the best rap album. I sound the freshest, I sound the newest, I sound the best of everybody.”

Did Pusha blow a golden opportunity by not responding to Drake on It's Almost Dry?
