There's been a lot of talk about the Clipse's new album Let God Sort Em Out, their first LP in more than 15 years.
The first single has just been released, and it's called "Ace Trumpets," produced by Pharrell Williams.
On it, it seems that Pusha T takes a few shots at Kanye West, who he's fallen out with for not co-signing his antisemitism and other bad behavior. Pusha used to be the president of Ye's GOOD Music label as well.
"Look at them, him and him, still waitin' on Yeezy / I hope you got your squeegees / At your interviews, I just ki-ki / Life's peachy, ASAP with RiRi / You rappers all beneath me, beloved like the Bee Gees / International flights connect me to the Wi-Fi the only way you reach me," spits the Virginia rapper.
Perhaps Pusha is suggesting that people are still waiting for Ye to produce good music again, as that hasn't been the case in some time. He seems to be mentioning Ye's interviews about him as well.
Let God Sort Em Out will be released on July 11. What do you think about "Ace Trumpets?"
