Pusha T Reveals which Rapper He Tried to Sound Like Coming Up

by Daryl Nelson

Pusha T’s former manager recently said that most of the Clips' drug dealer rhymes were actually based on his life.

His comments are now being followed by more info about Pusha's come-up, which was revealed by the GOOD Music rapper himself.

Pusha took to Twitter on Thursday and revealed who he tried to sound like when he was developing his style back in the day.

"Fun Fact," wrote Push. "I spent all of my amateur rap career trying to sound like @jadakiss 😩96-98, fortunately I found myself and have gotten to rhyme along side an inspiration of mine a few times, here’s another one... #HuntingSeason from the album #Ignatius dropping Midnite (3/6) RIP @icepicjay we miss you."

Are you surprised to hear that Pusha tried to sound like Kiss back in the day?
