Pusha T Comments On Kanye-Kid Cudi Breakup

by HHL JT

Earlier this month, Kid Cudi announced that he’d no longer be working with Kanye West.

Cudi sent the message a little before Pusha’s T’s It’s Almost Dry album came out and said he and Ye are no longer friends.

“So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha," Cudi tweeted. "I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye.  I am not cool w that man.  He's not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye -Scott."

This all has to do with Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian dating Cudi’s friend Pete Davidson, which Ye was none too happy about. He told Cudi that he wouldn’t be on Donda 2 because he felt Cudi was siding with the SNL star

Pusha T spoke about the beef between Ye and Cudi and said it’s incredibly unfortunate.

“It f*cking sucks,” Pusha told Vulture. “You know Cudi is my f*cking brother to the end. Just navigating these relationships, this brotherhood, the arguing … it gets public. It’s one thing for us to argue. We all argue, that’s not a problem. It gets out there, whether it’s Ye bickering first, or Cudi coming back with what he says. It’s super–f*cked up.”

Pusha also talked about “Rock N Roll,” the song on his new album that features Ye and Cudi.

“The day we made this record, everybody was so f*cking happy,” he recalled. “Ye’s chopping the Beyoncé sample. Cudi happens to come in that day. We see each other, and I hadn’t seen him in a while. He’s like, ‘I gotta get on a record. Are you crazy?’ Cudi did, like, three or four different references. Beyoncé cleared the sample. There was so much great energy around the making of that record.”

Are you disappointed that Ye and Cudi won’t be working together anymore?
